All of our dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative. If the pet is heartworm positive it will undergo heartworm treatment while in our care. When Lucky Dog Rescue has more dogs than foster homes, the pets are boarded at kennels or vet clinics.
Our goal is to place pets in permanent, loving homes. See our Adoptable Pets! If you are interested in applying to adopt a pet, please review our Adoption Process.
We do not adopt dogs on a “first come, first served” basis, but rather make every attempt to match families with the most compatible pets. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason.
